Unless you instruct us otherwise, all Lynhaven Forge® purchases are shipped for residential delivery service by parcel delivery service or motor freight. Deliveries of most Lynhaven Forge items can only be made to locations with a street address.  We can ship to virtually any address in the continental United States.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of the item(s) you ordered and the shipping options for the items, and the order destination.  

The shipping service and cost for all items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any item can be found on its detail page. In keeping with the policies of all shipping companies we use, all weights are rounded up to the next full pound.

If an item is shipped by motor freight, the transportation company will notify you by telephone before delivery. The delivery driver will typically off-load the freight and leave it in your driveway, on your front porch or on the sidewalk.  The motor freight driver is typically not authorized to go inside or to the back of the house. If the item you ordered ships by UPS, Fedex or USPS package delivery services, the carrier's policies apply. Usually, parcel delivery drivers can be more accommodating in delivering your package.

All motor freight carriers and some parcel delivery companies will require that the shipment be ‘signed for’ by you, or someone you designate. Before signing and accepting your purchase, be sure to thoroughly inspect the package and its contents for damage. If possible, open the packaging while the carrier is still there and assure that your merchandise arrived in good condition.  

If damage is detected, be sure to conspicuously note “damaged” on the ticket before signing and be sure to get a copy of the shipping document. Call us immediately. That will enable us to be more helpful in resolving any claim with the carrier.

Before delivery, note the weight of the item you have ordered. You may need help to move a heavy piece to its intended location. Lynhaven Forge® Workcenters are heavy. Use caution and avoid moving or assembling them without assistance.

Please dispose of shipping carton(s) in a fashion that enables recycling. Virtually all of the packaging materials used by Lynhaven Forge are recyclable. 





Everyone at Lynhaven Forge® wants you to be pleased with our products and our service. If you ever encounter a problem with any Lynhaven Forge® product, Contact Us right away. We want to correct any unsatisfactory situation as quickly as possible.

Should your purchase fails to meet your expectations, please call or email us within 90 days of the purchase date, and we will help to correct or return it. We will exchange the item or issue a refund, excluding inbound shipping fees, upon our receipt of the purchased item.  

If the return resulted from our error (you received an incorrect or defective item) we will pay for return shipping. After 90 days, we will replace any item if it is defective in materials or workmanship. 

Before returning any item, please Contact Us. DO NOT RETURN any item without a Return Authorization. Let us know the order number and the details about any product you want to return. We will respond quickly and spoil you with the service you have every right to expect.
